Marika (Estonia)
Maarika Susi is from Estonia, started dancing from ballroom and on y2008 fell in love with salsa. She has participated in various showdance projects on board cruiseships in Baltic Sea getting experience from various dance styles such as cabaret, russian folk dances, jazz etc.
She also performs as a gogo dancer in biggest clubs in Estonia, and all over Europe (Dublin, Munich etc). She worked as an official gogo dancer in Nikki Beach Marbella, Spain. Since summer 2010 Maarika has put more emphasis on salsa, developing her skills by Frank Santos & Alina Moskvina side, participated in all their classes and workshops.
After special FDS training Maarika started teaching with her dance partner Sergei Volodin at FDS courses such as Bachatango, Salsa. Maarika is one of the member of F.D.S. A Yemaya dance group, which got the first prize in International Dance Competition in 2sexy2sensual Latin Festival on 22nd Oct 2010.
Occasionally Maarika has helped to hold the workshops of kizomba in different cities in Europe, alongside with Joao Rocha. In winter 2010 Maarika has formed her own showdance group “CERISE” that specializes in showdance, girly hiphop and cabaret/burlesque, gogo for the clubs.
