Natalie Agarkova (Riga)
Natalie is one of the most innovative salsa instructors in Latvia.Born and raised in Riga. She was introduced to Latin dance when she was 18. Having some experience in other dance styles quickly became a recognizable face on the Latvian salsa scene.
For 5 years Natalija mastered her dancing skills attending various international salsa congresses and festivals, taking private classes from world known artists, at the same time being part of famous Latvian Modern Dance Company “Dzirnas”. She has always been interested in dance in all its forms of expression.
At age 22 went to Crete (Greece) where she worked as a show dancer in Live-music performance, at the same time taught salsa and formed Ladies mambo show team.
In summer 2010 she returned back to Riga where she formed her own performance team “I-FLY Dance Group” (www.i-flydance.lv) Shortly the group became well known on the International Salsa Scene representing Latvia in Germany, Poland, Estonia, Holland, Belgium, Lithuania and Turkey.
At the moment Natalie holds regular Body Movement, Ladies Styling and Latin Jazz Classes in Riga and abroad.
Her aim is to develop a personal style which based on collaboration of various art forms.
