Xavier (Estonia) - Travdance
Xavier is originally from California, USA and first came onto the Tallinn salsa scene back in 1999
when salsa was just getting started in Tallinn. He kept visiting and returning year after year until he started to live in Tallinn since 2006 helping co-found a salsa dance school, Casa De Baile and more recently founding Travdan Dance Studio in 2011. Xavier’s dance background spans over 20 years and includes professional training in many partner dances such as the ballroom-standard dances and latin american dances, as well as salsa on1 and NY on2, bachata, west coast swing, hustle and more. He has been teaching dance for over 10 years and has taught in various locations, such as Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland.
Years ago his love of dancing led him to West Coast Swing which he danced in the USA for over 6 years and has trained over the years in numerous lessons and workshops with many well known WCS instructors. With Travdan Dance Studio, Xavier continues to teach, train, and perform with his dance partner, Julia Grishkova in salsa, west coast swing, and other dances.
