Dj Guy
Guy Raphael is an international DJ in the Salsa/Zouk scene, with a dance & music background that dates back to the 1980's B-Boy era in the United States. He discovered Salsa later in life in Washington D.C. after realizing how special this particular form of partner dancing can be. Since then, he has grown quickly in this art as a lover of the music, a social dancer, an instructor and a DJ. His love of Salsa has taken him across the United States, all throughout Europe and he now is an established resident DJ in Tallinn, Estonia.
His dancing experience started with learning the actual native NY 'style' of On2 as a first time beginner and then learning On1 only 2 months later. His first instructor is a 2nd generation student of the very talented Frankie Martinez. His second instructor is the veteran On1 Salsa performer Al 'Liquid Silver' Espinoza' who, with his ex-partner Edie the Salsa Freak, used to tour with Eddie Torres in the 90's. So as you can see, he has gained experience from famous faces on both sides of the On1/On2 cross-body Salsa coin.
