Prior to salsa, Rain was listening to jazz, Brazilian music, Latin jazz, funk, rare 70's soul jazz along with some Cuban music. When he started dancing salsa, he fell seriously in love with salsa music and now he has devoted himself entirely to this genre. Rain started deejaying salsa from January of 2007, first at socials and then gradually in many salsa spots in Tallinn. Throughout this time, he has been growing with the scene, learning from it and pushing it forward.
DJ at the London 2nd Sexy and Sensual Latin Dance Festival 2010, Latvia Salsa festival 2010, Tallinn Salsa Festival 2009, resident DJ on one weekly salsa night in Tallinn, resident DJ on 3 big monthly salsa events, resident salsa DJ for the 3 largest salsa dance schools in Tallinn and their corresponding salsa events.
It is with sheer joy and dedication that Rain shares his love for salsa music and its best/most passionate aspects with all the fellow-dancers!
